This project aims to strengthen the global impact and accessibility of research on the System of Rice Intensification (SRI). In partnership with SRI-Rice, researchers from Padjadjaran University, and other international collaborators, we are developing an interactive map to visualize the global collaboration of SRI research based on SRI-Rice database of over 2,500 research items. The map shows the locations of researchers, institutions, and study topics across the world.

The map is designed to support the formation of regional research hubs, allowing scientists working in similar fields or regions to connect more easily. These hubs will facilitate knowledge exchange, foster cross-institutional partnerships, and enhance the overall quality and visibility of SRI-related research.

Global Collaboration Map

This map provides a visual overview of the global distribution of SRI research. It includes tools to explore

  1. Researcher name
  2. Article name
  3. Institutional affiliations
  4. Research collaborations across countries.

Below, you’ll find a step-by-step tutorial on how to navigate and use the interactive features of the map.

User-friendly summaries of complex scientific findings on SRI targeted at policymakers, farmers, development practitioners, and media authors.
